Sven Longshanks narrates the experience of an escapee from the Indians and the reasons given for why the Pioneers felt they had a right to colonise the new world.
Even back in the 1700s there were people who were saying it was wrong to colonise the new land as there were people already living on it.
The response to this was to say that just because someone has set foot on a land, does not make it theirs and the guarantee of property rights that enables people to have property, is only possible within a people who have developed and ensure this right by common assent.
