In this episode of the Daily Nationalist, Matthew Raphael Johnson continues his talk on the situation in the Gaza Strip. One of the key variables in Israel's policy on Gaza is the “Dagan Plan” of 2001, named for the then head of Mossad, Meir Dagan, closely allied with Ariel Sharon in the campaigns of 2000-2001. The Dagan Plan is not so much about destroying the guerrilla forces of Palestine, but about destroying its infrastructure so as to “make life unbearable.” This was the identical purpose of the Gulf Wars, the Afghan campaign and the US-financed civil war in Libya and Syria, among other events. Gaza has been turned into an open-air concentration camp, with no functional economy or resources. In a word that Dr. Johnson rarely uses, it is genocide.
