Grandpa Dan discusses the diminishing legitimacy of the “Democracy” system in the West. In Germany, polls show that the current government has virtually no support from the people. The Chancellor has acknowledged that this is due in large part to the government’s support for the Ukraine. Yet his response is to openly tell the people that “There is no alternative to changing that”. In other words: “Too bad, it doesn’t matter what the voters want”. Meanwhile in Britain, the Labor party has won in a landslide, apparently largely on the platform of simply not being the Tories. Keir Starmer, the new Prime Minister, took the occasion to publicly state the priorities of the new government: unwavering support for the Ukraine, the same priorities of the previous government.
