Like many of you, Grandpa Dan has the feeling that something is about to give. While the likes of Vladimir Putin have shown great restraint and diplomacy in the face of ever increasing provocations from the U.S., this has lead to a situation where a bunch of midwits in Britain and the U.S. are trying to decide whether or not to launch long range missiles deep into Russia proper. The discussion isn’t centered around whether or not this would make sense but instead on whether or not Putin would actually do something about it. This is the problem with restraint and demonstrates the limits of diplomacy. Do you know who isn’t facing threats of missile strikes on his country? Kim Jong Un, that’s who.
